Cambridge Festival of Creativity brings together a wide range of creative and innovative events over the summer, connecting creatives, industry and educators. The festival is a collaboration between Cambridge School of Art and the newly created Cambridge School of Creative Industries, both Anglia Ruskin University schools.

With a close working relationship with ARU, we were excited to work with them to create the branding and website for the first year of the festival. They were keen to create something that cut through the multitude of event promotion, on and off campus, and we think we delivered.

With a vibrant twist on Cambridge blue, bold geometric font and moving shapes and patterns (representing the many forms of creativity), we delivered a responsive website, flexible brand and guidelines to apply the visual style to a variety of printed materials. The website and brand were well received by students and teachers alike.

More than just a website

We didn’t just create a standard website for Cambridge Festival of Creativity, the find events page needed a custom filtering solution. This allows students to filter events by month or what category of event they are interested in, say dance or drama. In addition we also supported the launch of the festival by creating a series of animated logo cards to be displayed throughout the Cambridge campus.
